Built for the Lowcountry
The best landscape lighting is not about making everything bright. It is about using warm, intentional light to guide movement, reveal texture, and make the best parts of your property visible after sunset.
Ace Basin Landscape Lighting designs and installs low-voltage landscape lighting for Charleston-area homes, and helps homeowners repair existing systems or upgrade them as their property and outdoor spaces change.
Designed to complement brick, wood, stucco, palms, live oaks, porches, and garden beds.
Light the paths, steps, docks, entries, and outdoor spaces people actually use.
Before & After
A few well-placed path lights make the entry feel safer and more welcoming, while uplighting adds depth to trees, palms, and planting beds that disappear after dark.
For smaller projects, the goal is not to flood the yard with light. It is to guide people to the front door, reveal the best landscape features, and give the home a finished nighttime look without over-lighting the property.

Pricing
Most landscaping and outdoor lighting companies keep pricing vague, but homeowners in Charleston, Mount Pleasant, James Island, West Ashley, Daniel Island, Folly Beach, Kiawah, and Beaufort deserve a clear idea of what a new install or repair will cost before the project starts.
Professionally installed landscape lighting systems start around $2,250.
That starting point includes a transformer and 8 new lights fully installed. Most of our front-yard lighting projects fall between $2,500-$5,000 depending on the size of the property and design.
We do not charge more just because of what part of town you live in. Every job, whether it is a small repair or a full landscape lighting installation, benefits from more than 10 combined years of professional experience. We believe homeowners should be able to plan, budget, and compare options without surprises.
Fixture Install
Includes the fixture, lamp, wire, and labor. A minimum of 5 fixtures applies to new installation projects.
Core drilling is an additional $45 charge per fixture.
Transformer
Typical 300w transformer pricing for new low-voltage lighting installations and system upgrades. We usually install 300w in effort to give the homeowner future options and flexibility in event they choose to add more lighting in the future.
Permanent Lighting
Straightforward permanent lighting installation pricing for homeowners planning a full install.
Service & Repair
For the first 90 minutes, we will work to restore your system by testing the overall health of your transformer, wiring connections, fixtures, and lamps. We will reconnect poor wire connections based on how accessible they are to rewire if they are pulled apart, poor, or failing connections causing power outages in your system.
Other typical activities during your 90-minute on-site repair visit include re-aiming light fixtures for optimal beam spread, fixing fixtures that have fallen over or need the gimbal reset, cleaning lenses, and providing a follow-up report with diagnostics of the current system, findings, and recommendations based on what you should do next to restore or improve your existing system.
If additional work or parts are needed after that initial 90 minutes and the customer decides to move forward with the repair or new install, that service fee is waived.
Warranty & Maintenance
For every new install, we include a lifetime warranty on our fixtures, bulbs, and transformers as long as the homeowner maintains their yearly service package at $18 per fixture.
The White Glove Experience
$15,000
A fully curated lighting experience for homeowners who want the highest level of access, speed, personalization, and after-install support.

Service Areas
Charleston remains the core service area for Ace Basin Landscape Lighting, with select Lowcountry projects available in nearby coastal and island communities.
Ace Basin Landscape Lighting is a local small business serving the Lowcountry, not an out-of-town lighting franchise or large regional contractor. We live and work here, so our lighting plans are built around Charleston homes, coastal conditions, live oaks, marsh edges, brick paths, porches, and the way Lowcountry properties are used after dark.
We also serve select Beaufort-area projects for homeowners looking for landscape lighting in Beaufort, SC, especially practical scopes such as new low-voltage lighting installation, existing-system repairs, maintenance, fixture replacement, LED upgrades, live oak uplighting, path lighting, and outdoor living area lighting.
Each area has its own outdoor lighting priorities, from live oak uplighting and brick pathway lighting to dock lighting, porch lighting, driveway lighting, patio lighting, and low-voltage system upgrades.
For homeowners comparing broader residential outdoor lighting options, the outdoor lighting service page covers patios, porches, entries, driveways, docks, pool areas, and backyard spaces across Charleston.
